Description

ALGO-X is a classroom based technical coding event with two exciting rounds : A Debugging Round, where participants identify and fix errors in given programs, and a Coding Sprint, where they solve programming problems (Any language) within a limited time.The event tests logical thinking, accuracy, and coding speed in a fun competitive environment.

Participants may be required to bring their own laptops.

Rules

  • Each team has 2 members.
  • Only pen and paper are allowed; mobile phones are strictly prohibited.
  • Team members must follow the rules.
  • Any form of malpractice will lead to disqualification.
  • Time limit must be followed.
  • Judges' decision is final.

UIFOLKS

Design fast, think smart, and craft meaningful user experiences at UIFolks.

Description

UIFolks is a UI/UX design–focused event where participants create innovative user interface designs using the Figma platform. The event is designed to test participants' visual understanding, creativity, teamwork, and ability to convert ideas into meaningful UI designs under time constraints.

Participants may be required to bring their own laptops.

Rules

  • Each team must consist of two participants only.
  • The event will be conducted using the Figma platform.
  • All UI designs must be created during the event time only.
  • The use of AI tools, AI plugins, or auto-generated designs is strictly prohibited.
  • Any form of plagiarism or copying existing UI designs will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Participants must follow the time limits strictly.
  • Google Images is allowed only for reference (images and inspiration).
  • UI kits inside Figma are allowed.
  • Judges' decisions will be final and binding.

PAPERIX

Description

PAPERIX is a technical paper presentation event where students present innovative research ideas and emerging technologies in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, fostering technical knowledge, creativity, and academic excellence.

Participants may be required to bring their own laptops.

Rules

  • Individual participants or teams consisting of 2 to 5 members are allowed. Teams may include participants from different institutions.
  • Prepare 7 to 14 PowerPoint slides; prototypes are encouraged.
  • Abstract, paper, and presentation must be emailed before the event.
  • 5–15 minutes for the presentation, followed by a Q&A session.
  • The decision of the judging panel will be final. Violations of rules may lead to disqualification.

CRYPTIX

Description

CRYPTIX is a team-based technical game that combines knowledge, strategy, and luck through interactive rounds like dart selection and a spin wheel, challenging participants to think fast, work together, and make smart decisions under pressure.

Participants may be required to bring their own laptops.

Rules

  • Each team must consist of 3 to 4 members; once registered, team members cannot be changed.
  • In Round 1, only one member per team is allowed to throw darts on the dart board.
  • The number of dart throws and scoring rules will be decided by the event coordinators
  • In Round 2, each team member gets only one chance to spin the software spin wheel.
  • The spin wheel result (Red, Yellow, or Green) is final and must be followed strictly.
  • Swapping questions is allowed only when the Green Signal appears on the wheel.
  • All participants must submit their mobile phones during the event.

Blind Coding is a team event where one member (Navigator) views the problem and guides the other (Coder), who writes code without seeing the screen, testing logic, communication, teamwork, and real-time problem-solving under time pressure.

Participants may be required to bring their own laptops.

Rules

  • Participants must register in teams. Each team can consist of 2 members
  • The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited during the event.
  • Any form of external help or unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Participants must report at the venue 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
  • Late entries will not be permitted once the event has started.

IPL AUCTION

Description

Non-Technical IPL Auction is a fun and strategy-based event inspired by the IPL auction. Participants form teams, bid for players using virtual money, and build a squad based on a limited budget and predefined rules. Innovative elements like mystery players make the event engaging. The winner is decided using a points-based simulation system.

  • Each team must have 2 members only
  • Each team must buy 11 main players in the auction.
  • Players will be auctioned based on given statistics.
  • Team must not exceed the allotted budget.
  • The winner is decided using a points-based simulation system.
